Crank, timing & sprocket kit m 112 engine e240 w210 compatibility
Dear MBworlders,
I am currently overhauling my engine and my Mechanic has advised me to change the sprocket/timing kit to be changed as the sprockets and gears have the rubber disintegrating.
I need confirmation if my m112.914 engine w210 e240 and it's various versions uses the same kit or is there a specific kit and if so does anyone know if there is an oe number for the kit. I will need to sprockets.
Please need help urgently as the engine is already dismantled. Awaiting rebuild.

Plutoe,
Well over here in this part of the world the common practise is to only notify if they have the parts or not in stocks and the price. As for MB part number(s) they will hold on to it like it's a trade secret or they will give you a bogus or incorrect information just so in hopes you will come back to them when all else fails.

learning is everywhere---i would download a copy of MB EPC and then do the grunt work yourself-----failing that put anything on your car or stay on the bar stool
