Problem Startin My Car
Hello guys i have 01' E320 cdi w210 when the car reaches the set temperature of 80c and I turn it off, I have a problem turning it back on, but after cooling down, the car starts again fine, what could be wrong?

Try exploring a faulty crankshaft position sensor. This seems to come up a lot and fortunately it isn't too expensive (approx $50 USD). This is one of those which falls into the category where it's more likely to happen (when, versus if). Pulling the old one out and swapping it out can be as easy as a 15-30 minute task or just go slow and make it an hour or so. Take a look on Youtube for video how-tos...and seeing if this might be the cause with you car.

Silly question, but when you say it does not start, do you mean:
- the engine will turn over but not start (fueling issue either mechanical or electrical)
or
- the engine will not turn over (starter issue)
Hell, it's a diesel and those things are hard to kill. Fuel pump fails to operate would be heat-related issue in the SAM or pump itself. Relay flips on, power to fuel pump, pressure to fuel rail. Is there a shut-off mechanism (flapper that closes off the throttle body) that has a solenoid that could heat-soak? I'm reaching here as I don't own a diesel version.
And take Raymond_g- advice. Pull codes and let us know.
