Spent some time perusing the schematics for my '99 E55 and realized I had very little knowledge of the engine compartment passenger side relay and fuse block to include the air pump relay. So...here is a photo of the air pump relay and its 40-amp fuse. Both are located at the lower part of the photo.
your picture of the K40k6 and K40f4 are only applicable to the M119 engines-------for all others use your VIN to search locations of applicable parts and avoid a wild goose chase
Concur. And thank you for pointing that out for others and to me. Without formal Mercedes training, I have to figure it out on my own with guidance only from others on this forum.
@Plutoe I'm impressed you knew the relay and fuse designations for the items in discussion. You must have spent much time on the W210 series. I find mine to be one of the finest sedans manufactured.
