Odd Trunk Issue

Odd Trunk Issue
Going to keep this short. I typically never post my issues but this has stumped me.
2002 E55 Sedan
The trunk only works with the center console button and the keyless entry for a certain amount of time after reconnecting battery. its like it times out and it never works again until you disconnect the battery.
Although the Trunk release does not work electronically, the trunk light still has power but the emergency button will not trigger the latch either. You can open the trunk manually. its like the PSE no longer receives the signal after some time and refuses to actuate the trunk latch.
All fuses
Car has other electrical issues as well
- Dome lights only work with passenger side doors
- tow Light stays on
- head light washers do not deploy. No power to to washer motor.
Starting to think it has to do with the SAM or some other CAN module. No codes via the diagnostics port under the hood. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Out Of Control!!
i think you have loads of shoulda woulda problems that a good quick test will quickly identify the problem area, but of course you can continue on with your FUYAA and get nothing done

Ended up putting a meter on the Can Bus B x30/7 connector and the low signal only had .10 volts when it should be .18-.2 I believe. When I unplugged the PSE pump (farthest to the left, #1 on the X30/7) the voltage would stabilize at .18. But this wasn’t the case. The first time I did it, no change in voltage. So I started to think it was a short or an intermittent issue. Sure enough there was another plug in the PSE pump that had a lot of corrosion in it. So if anyone is having intermittent issues, pull all your connectors and check even if the CAN BUS checks out with a volt meter.
