E240 W210 1998 Classic
Stiff steering
I have a 1998 E240 W210 Classic. I put a new (used) rack and pinion in it because the other one leaked. Now the steering is stiffer than normal. The new one has a Electronic Variable Orifice valve witch my Classic does not use. Can I do something to make the steering lighter like it was before?

Normally, and that's normally and I'm not sure if this apply to our MB. But for all other cars that I have worked on, whenever you open up a power steering system, you have to bleed out the air in the system.
