E320 2001 Front Bumper Replacement Help

Someone hit the front passenger side of my daughters bumper and left. Deductibles being what she has we are having someone help us replace the bumper cover and getting all the parts. The dealership based on the VIN gave me p/n 2108851825 to use and the paint color to get.
Questions for anyone that has replaced it themselves:
***It seems most parts on the current cover are not damaged like the grill, trim molding, driver side molding, Can They Be Removed and put on the new cover?
***The damaged side rail/molding is the one addon part that is and it is discontinued. Any Suggestions On Where To Get Disco Parts? (
21088517219744).
***Is Replacing the Actual Cover As Straight Forward As It Seems? The guys doing it have fixed and repaired their own cars and sand rails.

Thank you in advance. I am about to purchase the cover and get it painted.

If you're not sure of the procedure, youtube is one of your best friend. As for the actual work, it's pretty straight forward.

Yes, definitely have watched YouTube vides, and there are several. It makes it look doable and straightforward. My concerns are more the glitches anyone encountered, and the parts that need to be used from the old bumper moving them to the new one if that's hard as i don't see videos on that.

we have loved the car and it only has like 160K miles and for as far as its needed to be driven, we want to keep it running and intact. its looking worn on the paint and seats.

Let me assure you, if you know how to remove and replace the bumper, there's nothing to worry about. It's straightforward process. Also, if you can remove the bumper, there's no worry about removing and replacing it to the new bumper. As far as I can remember, nothing tricky. But then again, our car IS almost, if not is, 1/4 century old car so you may have clip and/or screw or two that won't come out but when I did mine, never had a frozen fastener.

I bought an aftermarket bumper online a few years ago for like $160 already primered. Bumper removal is easy on this vehicle, like 8 bolts. As mention YT is your friend. Put 2x more coats of paint than you think. It fit like OE. Good luck.
