99 E320 Cruise Control stopped functioning?
Hit a bump on freeway, cruise control stopped working and brake light showed up on dash. Having a hard time finding out what needs to be fixed. Thanks in advance!

Scan it for codes. Could be the brake light switch (actually two switches in one package), could be parking brake switch. The instrument cluster brake light "always on" would point me that way but still, scan it for codes.
On my '99 it was intermittent failure of the CANBUS to the instrument cluster (one communication code, cluster would go "wonky" for one or two seconds, and cruise control would disconnect). This is not the issue with yours.
Again, scan the car using the 38-pin connector under the hood in the fuse box.
