W210 m104 engine, cruise control question

Hi,
just got a w210 E320 with the m104 engine, it has no cruise control system from the factory.
Now, to add one - the factory system, not an aftermarket one, what would one require? I tried searching the forums but no luck so far.

Easiest and cheapest way to add factory cruise control is to remove the coolant reservoir cap and place it on the coolant reservoir of a cruise control fitted W210.
Now, what's involved? Aside from W210 specifics, at the very least, you'll need wiring harnesses, modules, radar antenna(s), possible bumper sensors, and lots of coding.

good one, but this w210 is so clean, you can lick it :p

I do need specifics though, can do coding no problems.

At the risk of sounding like a p.rick, which I really am not trying to be, if you have the knowledge to do the coding, and tools like Xentry, DTS and Vediamo to accomplish something like this, then you should also have access to WIS, EPC and ASRA which will show you what parts you need for this retrofit. Well, there's no menu that says "List parts for xyz conversion", you'll have to spend quite a bit of time sorting out what parts, wiring harnesses, modules, etc you'll need.

looking for such stuff in EPC and / or WIS isnt exactly a walk in the park, plus sometimes WIS can be a pain in the ***. This being an old car, i figured someone might have done a conversion or researched on it. I will share my progress here as time allows. Thanks.

so an update - cruise control stalk was installed and the vehicle had original wiring too, a 6pin connector that matched the stalks - upon further testing it was confirmed that the connector is indeed for the cruise control stalk. Once installed, checked using a scantool, stalk was working as it should.

-- so if you have a similar vehicle and no cruise control, you might also get lucky.
