99' E320 62,000+ miles & counting
My 99 w210 is 56,XXX.
I only have had 4 problem so far,
1. Door will lock itself. Fixed with new wiring harness.
2. The seat sensor was broken so the airbag was disable. Fixed with the change of new sensor.
3. The motor in the head rest on the driver side was broken.
4. The radio reception is terrible. Will have a new power antenna install the coming Wed.
Fixed up w/
1. Nakamichi CD-400 head unit.
2. Rues System design by Rick Rues (Just pick it up today, the cleanest sounding system ever.)
3. The Goodyear Eagle F1 directional Summer Tire. (Dam, this tire is sticky)
Thing left to be done,
1. Window Tinting.
2. A set of new wheel (maybe).
3. Bi-Annual car detailing.

Late Built 2005 W-211 E-320 CDI
Radio Problems?
That's all that was wrong on both the daughters' '97 E-420 and my '99 E-300DT. This is quite common BTW.
Regarding window tinting . . that can raise hell with radio reception IF not done properly. Be careful.

195k on 97 E420
195k on my 97 E420, still runs flawlessly, have only purchased oil changes, tires and brake pads in the last 40k. It still clocks a 6.9 second rolling start from 5-60! The only mods are AMG Monoblock 17x8 3-piece wheels, Eibach springs and KYB shocks.

E320 2000, E350 2008, 911, Civic
115,000 on a 2000 E320
115,000 on a 2000 E320; a faithful and very dependable car with extremely good 'stately' looks.
[a] Main repairs:
[a1] under warranty: thermostat, dashboard lamps, key FOB, sensors at 100; RHS rear window regulator at 35,000; exhaust at 45,000. I had an extended warranty.
[a2] out of pocket: vanity mirrors at 100 then 5,000-etc. replace plastic hinges with nails; MAF and O2 at 75,000; rotors & rubber coupling at 85,000
[a3] never worked: TeleAid; there seems to be conflicts at the antenna switch between the analog cell the analog TeleAid transceiver
[a4] working erratically and not replaced: LCD for temperature, clock and shift; they started to loose pixels within 3 years under warranty, but then MBUSA 'could not duplicate the problem' and I did not spend the $800 to replace the LCD. Backlight lamps had died a few times and were replaced. Note that the main LCD never had any problem, except with its backlight lamps.
[b] Remaining issue: gremlins in the electrical feed of the LHS main beam; LHS lamps dies every six months or so, while RHS has only been replaced once. It seems that there are high voltage spikes in that circuit. Forensic also shows that LHS socket burns every six months, reducing it to black charcoal dust and letting the wires loose; this might explain some E320 engine fires. After replacing with MBUSA sockets twice, I finally used aircraft-grade sockets. I warned MBUSA about the problem. I believe that the dashboard lamps are on the same system, because I have to change these non-stop.
[c] I purchased the car at night: bid mistakes as there were numerous cosmetic and accessories flaws: so much for MBUSA quality control in 2000. The car looks better now than ever.

105,000 on '97 E320. It runs better and rides better than ever and has been relatively trouble-free since 50,000 miles. Had transmission service at 80,000 including drain of torque converter.

W210 E 200k
Just turned 300k Kilometers on '00 reg E 200k, running well, no oil consumption, no rust, few nigly things like temp and clock displays have faded away, ESP/BAS warning shown now and again but cancels on switching off and on ignition.
