Entry/Exit on E Class

I noticed my 02' E430 doesn't have a feature to assist in entry/exit, such as raising and retracting the telescopic steering wheel when the key is removed. The dealer thought it could be programmed via their computer, but their research indicated this was not a feature on the E Class. Does anybody know if this is correct? I believe the C Class might have it...

Thanks.

Yes, the C class (at least, the C32) has it. It is programmable from the instrument display and the steering wheel buttons.

Jswedberg,

I appreciate the reply. Some of the electronics in my friend's C240 seemed pretty nifty, if not more appropriate for most driver's needs. Even the MB technician seemed to be a little surprised the E class didn't have some of the optional settings.

Thanks again.
