CEL and adaptive settings reset

CEL and adaptive settings reset
If I replaced the air mass sensor on my 1999 E320, how do I reset the CEL , unplug the battery for a while will solve the problem ?
what about the adaptive settings ??, how do you do that, or this must be service by the dealer

A smart move would be to take it to your local MB dealer to clear fault codes and for good measure reset engine & transmission adaptations.
