Have any of you had to have the car computer reprogrammed so that it will accept a newly installed CD player? While installing the player was just as easy as promised on this site, it played only once and then the entire audio system shut down! Think having the computer (or head) reprogrammed will be expensive?

I installed a "factory" CD player in the trunk and did not have to reprogram the computer to acept the new player. You might have messed up the fiber optic connection that is a loop.

Ugh! Let's hope not. I don't know how I would have. I plugged it up and disconnected it only once (to test it) before the final plug in.
