New brakes needed for 2002 E320

I have read through a lot of useful information on this subject and pretty much decided to go with the cross drilled Brembo and aftermarket pads. A local shop quoted me around $800 for all of the above installed. But I have a question on the brake pads since they only carry Hawk HPS rather than what MikeyE430 was having good result on the Axxis Deluxe PLUS. Can anyone please give me some advises?

Also, should I go with stainless steel brake line all around at the same time?

Thanks ahead...
Frank

btw.. the dealer is quoting me $200 for parts & labor on the 2 front pads only.

The stealership will always cost you an arm and a leg!!! $800 for the entire project by a shop sounds like a really good deal. All 4 corners right??? I purchased Brembo rotors (front and rear) for my ride on eBay for about $350. Axxis pads for about $120 and installed them myself saving a boatload of cash. If you aren't mechanically inclined, $800 sounds like a good deal. Let's see what everyone else thinks....

Hey guys what size drilled front rotors did you buy in the brembos? I couldn't find drilled brembos in 316mm anywhere. All places have them listed as 300mm for the fronts. For the W210 01's and up the fronts are 316mm.

Your local shop should have many choices to offer you when it comes down to Brake pads and Rotors. If they cant replace your pads with the ones you truly want, then go somewhere else.
