Buying a E320 Wagon
My wife has made the decision to dump the SUV and get into something more civilized and we have choosen a E320 Wagon.
I have been trying to locate a 2000-2002 used wagon, but they are scarce and also seem to hold their value real well. Thus I have been talking to MBZ dealers in So Cal that are discounting E320 wagons by $1700 under invoice.
Couple of questions:
What are the known problems with this vehicle?
Does $1700 under invoice sound good given the new sedan is coming out this fall?
Thanks in advance.

So I bought a new one..The only problems are seat frames Im on number five on the drivers side!,A/C evap sensor,Rear shock leaking R/R side only X2, But the wagon is GREAT!
I had a M/L What a POS! I Dont RECOMMEND the M/L!
I think SUVs are on the way out!
The wagon drives great,rides great,more room than a M/L
Rides a LOT better than a M/L
And you can Mod the wagon as a lot of people have !
I have Lowered it with H/R springs,Euro Xeon lites,E55
Mono blocks 18s and saving for the KLEEMANN kit (supercharger)
Good Luck on the Search!
What year did you buy?
Did you think about the 4-matic, or because in so-cal there isn't much need?
How was your dealer experience?
Sorry for all of the questions, but its a big chunk of change!!

I did NOT want a 4mattic cause its a lot more weight and a LOT more money to service/repair (front axles go thru the oil pan!)ETC
I used to work for MB as a Tech and after working on few of them (the 4mattic) I knew I would never own on!
I Love the wagon! It works for me and my dogs
I bought it from FLETCHER JONES
And I will NEVER buy from them (Fletcher Jones) Again
I bought my wifes c coupe from MBLN Great people great Price
Email me re info on the wagon anytime or for a sales rep
I have several friends at the House of Imports,Caliber,Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel Let me know
