Please help with suspension upgrade options
Hi All,
After alot of discussions and research of past threads, I am still having a dilema about which suspension mods to go with. Heres what parts I have already bought for the upgrade and would like if you could respond with answers about the parts I have and not some other options. I am looking for better control with equal or better comfort for my 01 E430. I do not care if the car is lowered or not.
Here are the parts I bought and will return one of these combos depending on your responses.
1. Bilstein SP's/Eibach pro kit springs.
2. Bilstein HD's/01 E55 Springs.
Please respond with 1 or 2 and if you want to comment.
I really appreciate the help.

Well, if comfort is a premium for you, we generally would recommend to stay away from Bilsteins. They're a bit harsh on rougher roads, and a little better suited for the highways, or more spirited driving.
Having said that, both of those setups will result in very saimilar rides. The spring rates won't be drastically different, and the valving between those shocks will be the same. You may only get a slight change in ride height for a given spring pad.
