I have a new REAR AMG bumper for 96-99 E Class MB for sale. Make an offer. I don't have use for it and need to clear the space in the garage so I am just looking to get rid of it. I was asking $200 for it but only got inquiries whereby it needed to be shipped overseas and it wasn't cheap so buyers backed out. Preferably, local Orange County, CA pick up would be best. If it's rear black let me know. Does it come with the plastic trim insert?

 

It's a rear bumper for 96-99 MB E's. It does not come with any of the plastic inserts. I do believe you can use your existing trim pieces on this bumper. Don't quote me on that though.

There is. It's a totally different style. Although they interchange, it's completely different. The 2000-2002 AMG bumper has a cutout for the exhaust which the 96-99's do not have.

I never knew there's an AMG bumper in the 96-99' model year. I thought only the 00-02 came out with AMG.

That's the ticket, Whitey!!! Thank you for providing pics. I was having trouble with my Canon and couldn't upload. Either way, it's exactly as is on Whitey's ride minus the paint. This bumper is brand new ready for paint.

Oh, the original impact strips and chrome trim will work. My enitre factory kit never came with any inserts either.

 

As you know, I have a 2002 E320. I came across this 96-99 AMG kit through a friend of mine. It was a really good deal that I couldn't pass up and bought the entire kit to re-sell. I've sold the front bumper and side skirts and now only have the bumper left. Looks like a fellow MBWorld member is coming over today to pick it up. I just needed to clear up the space so I'm practically giving it away.
