thanks for the offer, but me thinks I'll be sending you pics of the car completed with the rims.. Offset should not be a problem, as this guy has done it before for other Es...he's even more psycho then me, putting 255 fronts and 275 rears 19s for his E38..looks sick, very comfortable ride of 19s and costing US12,000 all up.
I must say I'm excited , on the other hand, i might end up spending a whole lotta dough on something that my loved ones will beat me up over.. :P

alrighty..got the new rims..and I'm a happy camper..loving the deep dish look, loving the the phat tyres, and definitely loving the grip, the handling and the comfortness of a two piece rim!
attached herewith are pics I took 2 days ago...
nice gift for the Chinese new year!

Congrats on the new acquisition but seems (visually) smaller than your old ones.
Not sure how a 2pc will do all those things but a change is always good.
What's the offset and width of the rears in the end?

yeah, the side view shows the wheels looking smaller due to the muds on the tyres..need to take a decent shot of it once its all washed and shiney.. :P
rims are 18 X 9.5 with 265/35 tyres..
fronts are 18 X 8.5 with 235/40s
the two pieces plus the concave technology of the rims adds to the comfort level to the car..hard to put it in words, but will try to find some write up later on..
but change is good i guess..

spacers weren't needed for the new rims..flushed beautifully, and the dish really showed nicely..I think it was ET40,...sounds familiar...
staggered look is nice...!

If ET40 and you still have your old spacers and if they are 5mm, I would suggest putting them in as well - handling will be even better and off course, the "staggered" effect will be more obvious. 9.5" with ET35 will be no problem...any more I would not recommend. Just my humble $0.02.

sure thing davo..I'll check with the tyre guys...it could have been 35mm already, thats why he didn't recommend the spacers, but no harm in seeing whether i could flare it out some more!
