98 E320
Question AMG bodykit for 96-99 Eclass

Need some advise. I just bought a 98 E320 and i wanted to upgrade to a 2000 and up AMG Sport bodykit. I know the front bumper won't fit with on my car. Does the rear bumper and side skirt for the newer model fit on my car?

Thanks for any comments,
Kenny

Congrats on your new Mercedes and welcome to the board.

The 2000-2002 pieces will not fit. Just go with the 1996-1999 AMG kit.

How difficult is it to change body kit? How do you remove bumper covers and skirts?

Pep, the pieces have to be primered and painted to match the car so have the body shop install it.

I'm aware that the parts have to be painted. I would just like to know how they are bolted on and how to remove. Thanks

Thumbs up

Its pretty simple watch the body shop install it after they paint it and then do it backwards, kinda sounds like your trying to figure out how to steal one with out actually stealing the car.

It is better to keep quite than to open your mouth and prove your ignorance.
I read that somewhere. I can't recall where but...
