BAS & ESP lights on with code 1203
Ever since I had my car dyno'd my BAS and ESP light will not go off. I took it to an indy mechanic and he came up with code 1203 but can't find out what it is. Also my car goes into drive without needing your foot on the brake pedal. Does anyon know how to fix this?
Thanks

Still the annoying BAS/ESP warning light? I thought Wayne was taking care of this problem?
Is your tech using the Star Diag to check for codes? Did he use a generic OBDII scantool for the P1203 code; injector circuit shorted cylinder #3??
Have your tech inspect the stop lamp switch, booster diaphragm travel sensor or one common reason for the BAS/ESP light to come on is a battery voltage failure. This causes the steering angle sensor to get viewed without being properly adapted. Because this happens the instant the car is turned on with an unadapted sensor the fault is set. The first time the steering wheel goes lock to lock the steering angle gets adapted but the code that was set stays. Have you tried disconnecting the battery? But doing this may just restart the process.
Good luck...you gonna be in Thousand Oaks tommor.?
