How to take trim off B Pillar?
Can somone give some pointers on removing the seat belt trim around the B-Pillar? Normally I would just pull it off but I'm scared about the head airbags in the headliner and breaking any clips inside.
With the wind/snow we've been having, I had an opportunity to sit in the passenger side while someone else was driving on a trip. Apparently the "rattling" noise that I hear coming from the passenger door is coming from the seatbelt anchor...especially noticeable when there are high winds on the freeway (weird I know, as the seals on the doors look fine). I put my ear to the seat belt adjustment area and it sounds sort of like an air leak coming in somewhere or possibly moving something around in there.
Any ideas what could be causing the noise?
Thanks

This is a real long shot, but I went to look at my car. Check the accordian wiring conduit that connects the B-pillar to the rear door. If the accordian protector is ruptured, air may be passing through the pillar.

Good idea, but they are ok. I guess I will try and see whats causing the noise come spring when it's a little easier to diagnose...
