2005 E-500
New E-500 in a Unique Color
Forum Members: Attached are two early photos of my new E-500 which is Bordeaux Red. Only a few of these have been spotted on the road or in the Forum. I waited six months, but it was well worth it. As you owners know, it is a dream to drive. As my first MB: all I can say is that if you have not driven a Mercedes you just don't know what you are missing. Thanks to all that contributed to my selection of options and color combination. Looking forward to many miles ahead.

Congrats. Lots W211s in Seattle. Never seen one in this color.
I did have a pimpin' fellow roll up next to me downtown the other night in a slammed S Class in a candy apple metalflake with some spinners.

wow, thats beautiful!! Can I ask what the build date of you car is?? If you open the driver's door, there's a sticker at the bottom of the door frame that will say "mfd by mercedes benz stuggart" etc, and on the top right of the sticker will be the month/year the car was built(2/05) for example. thanks!

I certainly appreciate all of the congrats. It demonstrates the forum's open attitude to something a little out of the ordinary. As I complete my first week of ownership, I can say that the car has exceeded all of my expectations. A dream to drive and outstanding handling that make you a part of the road. Now if I just master a few more of the hundreds of controls and devices. That will remain a work in process.

Were you in napa today on Silverado trail???? Saw a red beauty like yours about 1:00 this afternoon....First one I've seen in person and looked better in person too...

No, that was not me. Not proficient enough to be trusted on Highway 29 with all the winery visitors. Likely to return on a future weekend. Wonderful area for a drive. I do agree, that is it necessary to see the color in person to fully appreciate it.
