Gas on my paint

I was filling up with gas this weekend. I started the pump and used the pump lock to allow the pump to continue to fill while I was washing the windows. Unforunately the pump didn't stop when the tank was full and a few gallons of gas poured down the side of my car. I washed the car immediately but wanted to ask if there are any other precautions or things I should be concerned about?

This happened to me a lot with my beater with no damages to my paint. As long as you rinsed it off with soap and water asap, I think you should be fine. You may want to re-wax that area though.
