E500, Viper, and other less-fun stuff
Is the free maintenance transferable?
Subject says it all -- I'm buying a used E500 and I'm wondering if that free maintenance program is transferable.

I think yes it is...are you buying from private or dealer?

Just a note...the free schdule service is only up to 2004 MY and it only cover 4years/50K miles(whichever comes first).

Don't get too excited. It doesn't amount to much. At best, you'll get three oil changes and maybe cabin filters. In real value, it's probably worth less than $300.

They'll get you into the dealership for that free oil change and find lots of things that need to be done at $100/hour.

I have a 2004 with the so-called free maintenance. Too bad it isn't like BMW's free maintenance where brakes are included.
