Daylight Savings Time
The only way is to manually adjust. That's fine and was completed successfully. However, with NAV it should be possible to use the automatic time adjustment setting. When I attempt to reinvoke the auto update option after the time adjust adjustment, the clock rests to "normal" time or one hour earlier. As you can see, I am not in Arizona which does not have Daylight Savings Time.
I am certain one of you experts can solve this terrible dilemma. I want the automatic adjustment back!!

Thanks for the link. All is now under control. I do not believe that you can mannually reset the time and in the same session return to automatic GPS adjustment. Completed at separate times appears to work. In any event, I also forgot that there are a number of versions of Command which accounts for more than one solution at the link.
Hopefully all will be "correct" from this point.

With a number of Command units out there, you have to use a specific technique to change to Daylight Savings Time. My oriiginal solution unraveled when I next started the car. The time reverted back to standard time.
Here is the solution that works for a 2005 E class with the NAV option: Mannually change the time in the COMMAND unit by accessing the SERV button and then the Time soft key. Once the time is changed there (it was reflected at an hour behind on the clock), the GPS will then automatically update if that option is invoked.
As in all things, it is very easy once your know how.
