Hi New 2003 E320
HI
i have lurked here for a while and love this site.
i have always owned merc's and have just sold my 1997 e320.
we looked around at all different makes as my wife felt that mercedes was not very up to date in looks etc.
anyway we saw a 2003 champagne colored e320 on sunday and after looking at 5/7 series bmw my wife was hooked and impressed with the new car.
the car has only 12k on it and we love it.

Is the color what M-B calls Desert Silver? That's our color. It's a nice variation on the white-silver-black sequence that most people seem to get. It doesn't show dirt or swirl marks, either - a definite plus for lazy folks like me. What's the interior? If it's Stone, then some of the time you save not washing the car goes into keeping the interior clean, but it's a nice combination. Congratulations.

Same here, been lurking this board myself. I've recently parted with my 700hp 2000 C5, and decided to get out of the performance business in Tampa, FL. My wife and I moved to Houston, and were just browsing through the MB dealership when we fell in love with an '03 E500. It's a black metallic exterior with an off white interior & sport package. I just can't belive how nice this car is. Once again, congratulations on your new car, and I know exactly how you feel! LOL :p

dwp yes you are right. i checked my color code today and it is 693 which is desrt silver with stone and burl walnut.....love it.
