E320/350 or C55

Which one do you think would be better? I like to C55 but it a C-class. Do you think i would be happier with a E320 or E350 on some sweet staggered wheels? Pro's and Con's?

This issue, and many like it, have been beaten to death.. how are we to know what tastes and preferences you have? Two different cars.. If you can't tell the difference between a sport compact with a V8 and a big family sedan with a V6, then there are other issues. The C class was recently facelifted inside and out and makes a big difference. The E is already beautiful, but not the same unless you have a fully loaded E500 (vs cheaper E320 - MY opinion, its a big difference). A loaded E is night and day different that a loaded C. Sit in them..

You need to ask yourself what you want out of the car. You will get a huge discount on an E320 5-10K off depending on where you live. (10K in so cal). The C55, a couple grand. You need to do your own research and come up with your own conclusions.

Dont mean to come off harsh, but theres no way for any of us to tell you what you should get. I say this because the differences in these cars are blatantly obvious.

for ME: I sold my M3 because it was not comfortable and I rarely got to drive it to its limits. Most of the time I was wishing I fit better and was more comfortable and a nicer interior. so for ME, the E was my choice. I miss having a sports car, but I am more happy 90% of the time. 10% I wish I had the M3 - not enough to justify owning it.

My advise is be honest with youself in what you really want/need. Excitement wears off after a short while ("M3 factor" etc)

Depends upon what you want out of a car. If the driving experience is important to you, get the C55. If you want a car to be seen in, get the E and hang whatever "sweet staggered wheels" you like on it. I'm not saying that the E320 and E350 don't drive well, but (a) they don't have the grunt of a C55 and (b) they have more prestige than any C-class, even a C55.

Oh, and I agree with everything that Brav said.

I agree with Brav - completely personal preference based on your wants and needs. I also chose between an E500 and a C55. I liked the way the C55 drove, and particularly liked the engine, but ultimately, I chose the e500 for additional luxury, comfort on long trips, interior space, and in particular, trunk space, as my racing bike would not fit in the trunk of the C55.
