Arrow Sliding Truck Drawer

When in the dealership yesterday, I picked up a pamphlet on E-Class accessories. One of the items that I had not seen before was a sliding truck drawer. I found this as a potential solution to "clean looking" storage in the truck. I have been criticized for having a plastic Craftman's tool box in a MB truck.

However, when I went on line to attempt to purchase it, I could not find in at MB USA Collection in the "Cargo Management" section. Is anyone familiar with this item and where it is available for purchase? Anyone that has it, please comment on its usefulness?

Thanks from San Francisco. Bright and Sunny this morning

MBUSA lists most accessories in the "Build Your Own" section of their web site, not in the "Accessories" section. Go figure. They probably want you to purchase over-the-counter at the dealership, not online.

Is this the item you were thinking of?

It's in the E500 "Build Your Own" "Accessories" section at $136, but it's undoubtedly available for every W211

Larry, if you are talking about the drawer for the TRUNK (I'm not completely clear on that), then it is available at the dealership. I believe there is a 10% off sale on accessories at this time, or some other sort of discount program.

I saw that at my dealership too. They did not have any of the accessories in stock (Imagine that!). I wanted to see what it actually looked like since the picture is not that great. I kind of feel that it would interfere with the trunk pass through. Also, the W211 trunk is big, but it is deceptively shallow, so putting a drawer in it might make it even worse!

I am also interested in what people think of it, It might be great after all.

That is nice. However I too would be worried about the trunk being even more shallow.

I looked at it mounted in one of the mbworld members' cars. The drawer is kind of shallow to begin with, and removes pretty quickly if you need to store something too tall.
