When I test drove my new E500 I hit the cruise stick a couple times while coming to a corner. Thought to myself, what a dumb place to put that stuff.
After driving the car for 800 miles or so, I jumped back into 2 of my other vehicles.. now I find what I thought was good placement on the turn signals and stuff in my other vehicles is awful compared to the MB.
I can do the cruise and signals in the E500 with just a slight movement of my finger. On my other cars, I have to move my hand somewhat as everything is alot higher up.

As for other things to change.. alot of people mentioned my 'gripes' already.
Lack of seeking through radio presets, Lack of a light on the ignition switch. I'd also like to see the ability to switch between audio devices via the steering wheel instead of having to push a button on the COMMAND. All 4 of my other vehicles (some DCX, GM and Ford's) allow this... but they have a couple more buttons.
Oh.. and a way to FULLY disable the traction/stability control.. or at least the traction control part of it.
I haven't found it yet, but the driving lights (fog lights) don't come on when the switch is in AUTO mode. Maybe I missed something.

'12 Mustang 5.0, '89 Supra Turbo, C55,
old post! But I'll add my .02. Besides reliability issues from what I've read here. I would like:

A manual transmission for the E-class V-8's and every AMG. (they'd never do that), and free maintenance for 4 yrs. - BMW owners must be relishing in that!
