How Do You Set The Tire Pressure Sensor

Everyone says its in the manual. I must be very dumb because I've been through it three times can't find anything about setting it.

Help!

Thanks,

David

I believe it is in the manual, but you set the pressure to the correct psi manually and then go to the pressure display on the OBD and push the reset button. You will then get a message that the sensors will be set after a few minute sof driving. If its working, in a few minutes you will see the pressure displayed. BTW, on both of my W211's the pressure displayed appears to be a pound or two above what is indicated on my digital tire guage. The point of the sensors is to see if you're having a draop in pressure in a tire. I'm not sure what the threshhold is for triggering an alarm.

Thanks!!!

By the way, after we picked the car up in Sindelfingen, a drove all over Stuttgart, to Zuffenhausen, Wuzburg, Nurnburg, Rothenburg, Hohenschwangau, Insbruck, Kitzbuhl, Salzburg...on the A8 on the way to Munich, we had a flat.

The warning starts at around 22 psi. And seems to more or less accurately record the decline to 0.
