E320 To E350 Experience?

E320 To E350 Experience?
hi
anyone here that has moved from w211 e320 to e350. i am very tempted and not sure if i should look at a e500. i prefer the gas mileage on the 320 but want the 500 power, alhough it seems there is not a real difference in power.
anyone with real world experience?

Possibly depends if you lease or buy...
There was a thread recently where an E500 was cheaper to lease than an E350 (cheaper monthly payments) because of the higher residual value of the E500.
Put the extra $ toward gas if you lease.
Or, just get the E320 CDI. Unless you want a 4Matic or are in non-CDI states, the gasoline V6 is pointless as long as a diesel is available. (OK I have an opinion...)

your hard pressed to find a '05 E500 now, they're all gone with the $5000 blow out.. but the E350 is great.. got one for my mom, and the power is great for a 3.5 V6... drives great, and the 7 speed is smooth.
BTW... had my mom not lived in CA, we would have gotten her a CDI.. IMHO (barring the E55) the best of the E cars.
