We understand you. Your English is pretty good! Welcome to this Forum. It is a great place for you to get information, even though the USA MB cars are slightly different than European MBs.
I'm sure someone here still has those pictures.

They do, they just don't seem to want to share .
Some prevoius posters in this thread that had the photos emailed to them have been
asked and they choose NOT to reply, for whatever reason.
The OP, who knows why. He has posted in the forum as recently as June 9th.

hey, look what i found in my notes. when i come across good info which i might
need to refer to (even those I dont need at the moment) I just save to my
PC. serendipity that i even saw this thread, as I dont usually frequent the
211 forum - y'all are snotty and stuck up and i dont normally associate with 211-ers.
....jest kidding !!

dont think so, F, otherwise i would have saved it to the same doc. but i have
sill installs for other models so may have concept documented.
i actually disagreed with one step and that was that you needed to hunt for
a HOT wire. this is a very basic install and i think you really need to locate a
HOT/SWITCHED wire which operates with the door. so, you may have light at
the bottom of your door, yes?....which lights up the pavement when you open
the door. verify wire color and just look for that under door sill to tap into.
the other wire from the EL transformer should be simple GROUND.
my theory. i've not done the mod because i didn't like electric blue and was
going to change the color to match dash lights...kind of an orange yellow.

most aftermarket places selling the sills sell them by the package. so if you're
looking for a la carte, you'd prob be looking for these from a place selling the
electroluminescent panels in generic form like the place below. the transformer
is a DC-to-AC converter as the EL light panel is inherently and organically AC.

....you can prob Google for more outfits who deal in EL sheets, ribbon, cables

Gonna do this as well. Idiot friend of mine tore off the right rear passenger door sill getting in my car Sat. night.
HTF do you DO that? Sheesh. Figure if I'm going to have to replace that one...might as well go illuminated...
