Command Died
Yesterday after a start up the command unit remained blank and all associated functions were totally inoperative. On the next start all worked normally. However this AM again, nothing worked. Stopped by my dealers and they were able to troubleshoot and found that the main dash unit was failed. Left the car there and went home in a C Class loaner. A new Command should be in tomorrow AM and after swapping out the units they will deliver my E and take back the loaner. This is the first I have heard of a total Command failure. Anyone else have this happen to them?? It was in my 05 E Class.
