Performance upgrade 05' e55

Hello Member's:

I wanted to know what other e55 owners felt would be the first step/thing to do to increase power on my car? ECU upgrade, pulley, transmission upgrade?

Any recommendations on company, i.e., Kleeman, Renntech (I am in the Los Angeles area)?

Do the upgrades in any way void out the warranty?

Might wanna shoot your questions over in the E55 or the AMG forums if you haven't done so. A lot of performance gurus over there with modded rides. Good luck with your search.

Let me suggest to you that you call these guys, the are possibly the most definitive expert on the 55K engines aftermarket capabilities.

RennTech, Brabus, and Kleeman are the only three names you need to know.

Most bang for the buck upgrade right now is ECU... warranty will only suffer it's the cause of your failure, and then any of those "Reputable" companies will cover the failed component that MB refuses to cover. MB (under US Law) cannot just arbitrarily revoke your engine and transmission warranty for the upgrade.
