2003 E320 Sport Non H/K Audio System Question
It seems the tweeters and the center channel (is there one in the dash?) could be upgraded to help prevent the distortion.
Has anyone jsut upgraded a few speakers? If so which ones?
Were the results worth it?
Spending $2000 to upgrade to the H/K system does not seem realistic.

I'm looking for the same solution as you, and I've asked several times here, with no help.. it doesn't appear that there is a simple way to retro-fit good speakers and not tear out the entire system and go to the HK. This makes no sense to me, but it's apparently the way it is.
