Lower Bin (Ashtray) Diagram
Does anyone have a diagram of this compartment? I was installing a Bluetooth in-car kit yesterday and was able to get this bin out without much trouble (to run some wires) but, while drilling a hole in the bottom of the plastic piece of the bin (all one piece with the door cover) the bin got away from me and, subsequently, it all fell apart.
I was able to put it all back together fine, except for two springs (one on each side) that I have no idea where they go -- these springs help keep the bin open when you open it.... right now it all works, but when it opens it slowly closes because there is no spring tension.
Anyway, I don't want to take the car in to MB and I know it's an easy fix so if anyone can help me with a diagram, or a detailed description of where the two springs go, I'd appreciate it.
