Anybody notice fuel efficiency difference service

Tire pressure does matter! I make the same 120 mile highway trip twice a week... cruise control set at 65 with ac on. With the tire pressure set at the factory recommended 29/33, I usually get 37-38 mpg. This morning I pumped up the pressure to 31/35, and got 39.6mpg (everything else being equal).

Well After 5 Hrs of driving on the timer and bumping up the tire pressure... avg is at 17.5mpg
16 City
20 highway
Still kinda horrible imo.
Gonna try fuel addetive just for the helluv it
last month I was at 21 avg... still not sure where it all went wrong.

Please let us know what happens ajm0824. The only other simple thing I can think of is bad gasoline, or perhaps gasoline with ethanol. Make sure to double check your fuel economy figure by filling the tank and dividing the miles driven since last fill-up by the amount of fuel you put in. I wouldn't rely solely on the trip computer figure.
If the MPG remains low, then there is likely a problem. A stuck brake caliper or some parking brake problem. Really bad alignment. Or some engine control problem.
