I've heard that MB is now belatedly offering bluetooth for mobile phones. My car is equipped with the Motorola V60 type phone which, of course, is not easily upgraded. I was hoping that bluetooth might change this.

It is in the works and I would expect something by at latest mid-year. It will allow you to use many of the new BT phones, send and receive calls and download the address book.

reamed by having to purchase damn near a whole new system, which I decline to do. Hmm... lets see... $100 phone at Verizon OR $1500 old tech dinosaur from MB.....
