Door Sills
I see a lot of threads complaining about the door sills and how dirty they get. I see a lot of cleaning tips but nothing about replacing or covering. Anybody do anything currently to cover up the fabric portion of the sill??
I know you guys are talking about hitting your feet on there.. But they also should have sealed that area better.

He told me that brake parts cleaner and dry cleaning compounds have similar properties. He even gave me a can for free.
The cleaner spray evaporates quickly, and the petroleoum scent also dissapates quickly. So far, so good.
For the sills, and any carpeted or cloth area, the brake parts cleaner spray is doing the trick. For the seats, leather and MB-Tex; leather cleaner and conditioner is cleaning them up very nicely.
Ash is by far the lightest interior I've had. As long as I have a simple way to remove the marks, I'll keep it.
If it drives me crazy, I'm in vehicle depreciation trouble . . .
Wow, I don't know if I can bring myself to spray brake parts cleaner on my interior fabric. That stuff smells horrendous.
