Adding command

greetingz,
greetingz,
ILuvS500.. Steve (MBENZNL) is the man with the hookup. If you're looking for some mods, Steve is likely the one to be able to do it.
He's pretty quiet and unassuming; and his advertising is mostly "word-of-mouth" from satisfied customers such as myself. So, before jumping in to anything, visit his site and explore your options: http://www.mbenznl.com.
Then, when you're ready, PM him (them). You won't be dissapointed.
Enjoy!

Why not sent him a PM with your vin and ask him to check for you if your car can be retrofitted. Steve is a real nice guy and i really believe you simply mis-intepreted his response.
People in this forum need to chill out sometimes.
But I agree with the CHILL OUT part. Quit crying and take the sarcasm lightly.

The seriousness of this matter led people who prepaid for the navigation system with ’03 vehicles to be given replacement vehicles because their initial vehicles were delivered without whereas MB said (because of both vendor and compatibility reasons) they could not install the necessary equipment that was paid for. In addition, those who were interested in getting the navigation system but took a “wait and see” attitude and did not prepay were offered a $3250 allowance towards the purchase of a 2004 with navigation with expiration. I myself took advantage of the latter however the dealer reneged on the price agreed upon when ordering and I refused delivery. Long story short, because of this together with presenting the necessary documentation MBUSA issued me a $3250 check to use as I pleased.

You need to hit the books and not spend so much time on forums.
So Tyler, are you guys planning on getting an E class? If I were you I'd wait for one to come along with exactly what you want. In my experience it is so much easier to get what you want to start with. Little things like a new steering wheel or a different grill are of course minor cosmetic upgrades which can easily be added later. But something like COMAND Navigation is serious stuff and you can probably get a better deal on it already installed then putting it in after the fact. The reality is, most "options" you get on a car don't hold much resale value. This means if you had two pre-owned identical E classes for sale but one had NAV and the other didn't, you'd probably only pay maybe a $500 premium for the one with NAV. If you bought the one w/out NAV and then installed it later, you're looking at at least $1500 (probably more).

:p

greetingz,
Well, anyway, good for you!
