I might be able to score a set of oem hids for my E350 and I'm going to install these myself. I'm sure i'll figure it out but if someone's done it before on the E, it could save me alot of time removing unneccesary items

If it requires pulling off the front bumper, does anyone know how? pics?

Looking at the engine bay even changing bulbs seems tuff on the drivers side because you barely have room to reach your hand in there.

Yes the Front bumper MUST be removed to replace the headlights...Its easy to do..turn the wheels one way to access the inner fender wells..remove the inner fender plastic covers then remove the screw for the bumper/fender bracket..slide the bracket towards the inside and pull out....then remove the screws on the bumper..unplug the side markers/fog lites/and outside temp sensor...Sorry no pics..
all the steps are at star tech info..but you must pay to use the site(Well Worth it) its the same site as the dealer techs use
