SBC noise ???
I have an 05 e320 4matic, a friend of mine has the same exact car. He has no vibrating from the sbc at all,do some cars have it and others dont? he didnt know what the hell i meant when i said you could hear like a pump kick on ,feel the vibrating in the pedal?? ..why do some hear/feel it and others same car dont?

I have a '03 E320, and I also have that "feeling". I remember that there might be a MB Tech note (service note) to fix it. Does anyone remember?

Please do a seach in here, SBC noise. Believe me, take it to you dealer, they know all about it..

A soft hum for about 5 seconds every so often as it pressurizes the sustem. (Usually when you 1st step on the brakes after a long park.)

'05 E320 CDI, '08 BMW X5 4.8i, '11 Duramax 2500HD
get inside the car, stomp on the brakes a couple of times (engine not running, keys not in) and SBC pump will kick on ... it's normal. It's also going to happen ever 10th or so door open (front doors).
