Other suggestions might be:
Bigger side view mirrors,
Updated parking brake,
Better NAV software,
Padded arm rest,
Move eyeglass holder so it doesn't break the dash line.

Things that shouldn't change:
Timeless good looks and performance/comfort balance of the E class!

First problem at 3000 miles: The SRS Warning Light activated. Took it in for service and they found a loose connection.

Just bought my used 03' E500, after 1k on it in past couple of weeks. I can't praise MB enuf. Car is so fast n smooth. Yeah i got couple of issues wiht it but overall it aint' bad. All my prior expectations of rear wheel drive in snow are gone, it ran very nice through sleet n snow n mine isn't even 4matic. I'm so pleased that i made the decision to go wiht V8, and is very decent on gas too. i was getting about 24mpg on my E320 n now its probably around 20mpg, which for a V8 is very good, my murano does only 16-17 and its a V6.
