My guess is they have to many cars on the lot and need to move some. And they are brining out a new V6 CDI soon. Heck i would buy it but i have to wait another year until my current cars warranty runs out.

Black = Hardest exterior color to keep looking respectable.
Stone = Hardest interior color to keep looking respectable.
$51,000 = get it cheaper on Euro delivery. Its not that far off msrp. I bought a new Chevrolet diesel truck in 2004 at $12,500 off MSRP.
Dealer must really want it gone, they are paying a good chunk of EBAY fees too on a $51K sale if it clears through EBAY.

Not to introduce any conspiracy theories, has anyone of you noticed that the pictures 1 to 6 within the ebay listing; the pictures of the black exterior; has a charcoal interior.
Stone is a very light interior (I know as I my E500 is stone interior) and it is easily seen as light interior from the outside. These 6 pictures of a black exterior car has a definite dark interior and it is most likely charcoal.
And you know that the listing is for a car with Stone interior. Does it look questionable????

Yea the pictures of the inside are of a different car that is really strange.

i read somewhere that lot of flood damaged cars from Katrina are showing up on ebay. Maybe thats why the interior pics are diff. The location is also in the south and theres some comment in his feedback about katrina.

CDI's are pretty much still "sticker" cars.. so I would guess he's got a over stock, or maybe the color combo isn't "hot" where he is...
It's also possible it's an ebay scammer who hi-jacked the id to get some sucker to wire him $51K ?? I don't know about buying my car on ebay... too much risk for me.
