Filling in front license plate holes
Going to fill in the holes from the dealer installed license plate frame on my 05 CDI. Has anyone done this? What product did you use? How was it repainted?

i had my bumper done last week. It was done by the dealership though so i wont be able to answer your question. No one can tell the difference but I can tell, it doesn't feel the same. Good luck

Thanks guys. Will have a photo report in a while. Connecticut requires a front license plate, but I am going without it until I get caught.

Thanks to forum member, Arnee, I odered a set of front bumper plugs, in my color, desert silver. $24.95 plus shipping. It is a much better solution than trying to do it myself. The dealer drilled through the clear bra, so I can't really do a bondo type deal, get it flush and then paint it, with the 3m type film over the bumper. When you consider having to buy a minimum quart of paint, the waiting time, plus the small spray apparatus, and the thinner, this is cheaper and quicker and probably will look a lot better. Thanks again. Jimbo
