The Plot Thickens (Capri Blue Decision)
Hello all,
I wanted to first thank everyone for their candor and replying to my somewhat trival problem. But, this is my first Mercedes and I want to make sure I am doing the right thing. So, here is the situation...2003 E 320 BLK on BLK versus 2003 E 500 Capri Blue. They both are fully loaded (panoramic sunroof, the whole enchilada!) AND they are the SAME PRICE!!! (different dealers). So, on one hand, I can get a E 320 with the color of my choice or get a E 500 with a color I am not sure of.
What would you do???

E 500! Its nice to have all of that power under your right foot... and 4 zone digital climate controll, and air suspension and other goodies that came std in the 500... and the blue seems to be a nice rich color.
But tell me...how do you get more room in an E500? The bodies are the same.

Sounds to me like you have your priorities screwed up.... This thread should (and most do) read like this...." e320 vs e500 what car should I get"..... I know the used market is tough out there and to score that exact car that fits your needs is hard to find. That being said, I would be putting the cars features and performance over the color.
The e500 is superior in everyway.... That is for the exception of a couple of MPG....

After looking at the pics of the Capri Blue on your other thread...........no doubt in my mind that you should get the E500!!!!! That color is awsome and will almost look black in some lighting conditions. Oh yea, and you get the extra power and goodies as a bonus. Go buy it before someone else grabs it out from under you!!!

E 500 vs E320
The E 500 is fully loaded and is at $39,000 and the E 320 is also fully loaded and is at $38,700. I was able to really negotiate the E 500, but the dealer for the E 320 would not budge as much (the cars at two different MB dealers). It doesn't make sense!!!
