lojack

IS the lojack system worth it to get a discount off my insurance? I am thinking of E350 with sport package

teleaide will get you the same discount, and it's a better tracking system

You're not going to get enough of a discount to make up for the annual cost of the service......

There are other, better, systems out there -- and I don't see why Teleaid wouldn't qualify you, either....

How much is teleaid? Do you have to buy any special equipment with it like lojack?

No special equipment, its already installed. You get the first year free with the car if you sign up for the second year. After that its about 250 per year, I have forgotten the exact charge. Its not the same a lojack as so far as alerting the theft but it can be tracked by specially equipped police cars while Teleaid is tracked by the Teleaid center. In either case the insurance discount is minimal and will vary from one insurance co to another.
