2006 E350 HK Subwoofer Upgrade
I am thinking of upgrading the HK Subwoofer but to do so I believe I have to get to the wires of the present Sub to get the signal from. In order to do that I need to take out the Sub. Does anyone know how I can get the present subwoofer out of the trunk? Any pictures?
Another thing, I have been reading other posts and some indicate something about having to disable a mic? How do I go by disabling the mic? Is it necessary?
Any help would be great.

'03 E500
I kind of have the same deal but got an 03-e500. My sub sounds like it's blown. It crackles horribly everytime there a song with some mild to strong to bass on it. Could be a cd, could be the radio, could be my ipod played via a cassette tape (HAHA).
Should I get a new aftermarket sub and have the local stereo shop do it or just replace it with the same type of sub? Also, a little off topic, but I have the logic 7 option, but my speaker covers don't say Harmon Kardon on them, does that mean they are still HK speakers? Thanks.
