squeaky suspension E500

Recently test drove a 2003 E500, has roughly 50k miles, and there is a squeak which seems to happen anytime you drive over any bump in the road, didn't notice it at first with the windows up but with them down, it's definitely noticeable. Any suggestions on what this could be and if it might be serious? Did a carmax and no major accidents and it's selling as is with available warranty.
Thanks.

There are two bulletins that I know about concerning the Airmatic Suspension that do not specifically mention squeaking however, may solve the squeak in the process. At the very least they’re a starting point.

DTB: P-B-32.22/15 MAR03 Airmatic Dual Control Ride Height Low at Cold Ambient Temperatures – Replace air struts / air springs.

DTB: P-B-32.22/32 AUG05 Knock / Rumbling Noise From Front Left of Vehicle (Up to VIN A735291) – Sporadic knocking / rumbling noise when Airmatic compressor activates or when driving over rough roads install revised mounting bracket, attach pressure reduction valve, and install new stop bumpers.

Also, as a precaution squeaking may be caused from the front brakes, even when the brakes are not applied as the result of the pressure retaining springs slipping out of position and scraping on the face of the brake disc.

DTB: P-B-42.10/51d DEC05 Front Brake Squealing / Grinding Noise – Replace pressure retaining springs; piston dampers; brake linings; and pads (if required).
