Switch Resets?

Many of you probably know that you can hold the window button down for several seconds and it "re-sets" the switch. I believe you can also do this with the sunroof.
Question: is there any way to do this with the side view mirrors? i have continuous problems with the auto reverse down feature, dealer said they reset it last time to fix it.

Yes. That’s why I questioned if this was what you wanted. I never had to reset this feature but I would think resetting is simply going through the process again. Not sure if there’s a short cut, at least that I know about. One common oversight is that the passenger mirror button is not kept pushed in and therefore the feature is not activated.
