I just finish installing a JL Audio Amp and Subwoofers, I am getting signal, and the amp is powering up however the subwoofers are not hitting hard like they are suppose to. They sound low. The AMP settings are set to hit loud but no results. Does anyone know what the problem may be? I have no idea what it could be. PLEASE HELP!!

 

dont mess w/ an MB stock radio the harmon kardons are great, even the bose are ok. i have the HK's and they are loud enough......

 

Try adjusting your hi/lo converter if you haven’t done so. Which JL amp and subs are you running? Retrace your steps just to make sure all your amp settings are done correctly….like your low-pass filter and gain.

sorry to bring this old thread up, but which wire did you tapped in for the remote turn on for the amp?

 

Do you run the after market sub of the Stock HK amp's pre AMP out jack or do you run the new sub off the KH speaker wire?
